Right any opinions on this?
Heres my take on it.
Holding the bridge should actually be considered to hold the majority of key building in the approach ramp area. This stops it being a 'cmap all your troops on one spot' game. Remember once frost realised that taking both sides of the bridge could not be achieved his objective was establsing a strong perimeter at the approach ramp. in reality this *was* the battle.
I suggest five key buildings, indivisually worth 10 points each but a majority gaines you a bonus 25 pts.
This means domination of the bridge is worth 75 points. and a tenuos hold a respectable 55.
Hartenstein hotel is worth 25 points.
Other key locations are worth liek the doctors etc are 10pts
Aid post captures shoudl be 10 points. Seniour officers 5 pts (worth it but not worth going out your way for)
Arps if not key loactions are a bonus 5pts if in your posseion at end of play.
The subplot.... well this is a bit mad but i suggest we buy 10 lagers or ten fairly big choccy bars and the side that makes off wiht the gold/art/madonna gets a sweety/beer at the end of the day! Getting the art does not affect the battle, its just fun, the rewards should be the same.

Also this means that you could lose your hold on the bridge but if you're lucky hold enough of the town and do enough capture damage to get a respectable draw... however you cant *win* without the bridge.
Oh and if we go for the historical phase 2 then every uk player who gets to the evac point (ill explain this later) and slips away unnoticed form the battle is a single (1pt) victiry point to the allies.

Interesting... what's this about aid post captures? How does that work?
How are we going determine who controls which objective? May I suggest the method that Gucci used at the last nam game.
There was a piece of wood attached to a tree... on one side it said VC on the other it said US. Either side your switch it to their side when they went near it (when alive).
Just need to ensure nobody runs around the site switching them over at the last moment! heh...
Uncontested control should work ,ie. hold all parts of the building . We can agree between us like we did last time - who cares who wins anyway ![]()
My comments at this stage are try to make the am and pm game a bit different, otherwise it may become a day long battle over the same turf, which may get dull - bit like we kept fighting around Bastonge.
& I would award points for the subplots, it gives them some bite .
