Period tentage i.e. pups/zelts/command tents if staying on the line - which I certainly will be.
Their is tentage in the safezone if you do not want to do this.

Cheers
Chris

Just a quick one do I take it from this that the `Period tentage in the line` is in the playing area?

Just to make it crystal clear IF I stay `In the Line with the Zelt` There will be NO playing after dusk. I don`t want to bed down and then get sprayed in the night by the opposition. Sounds darft but this has happened before.
Cheers

that sounds good, have to actually look after ammo. i dont think i've ever ran out of ammo even in ammo restricted games, usually takes a couple of walks back to regen before i have to reload everything

TBH it is bloody dark in those woods at night and we have stuck to our own lines before as its bloody dangerous and thats with live - no problem on night patrols but with no firing the risk is far too great. Besides neither side was very keen on night action in the Ardennes as it was just too risky

OK thats fine so long as when we have had a drink or three Hic we are not going to get sptrayed spreyyed, speyed oh shot at :D

Has any one else noticed what weekend this falls on? Bonfire night is on the Monday after, wich means most people will be having fireworks and bonfires on that weekend! Wich also means added sound affects, smells and explosions!
Just to really get you into the feel of it :good:

Unfortunately for me that is exactly why I'm probably not going to be able to attend. I have a dog that's terrified of fireworks and that will be hell night at home, even with all the drugs from the vet etc :(

Hell night sums it up, Ive got two dogs myself and really pisses me of that it seems to last for a week nowadays

Still hopefully for this event they will be able to stay at the girlfriends house, she has got dogs herself so its strength in numbers for them

I might have missed it, but is there a player cap for this event?

ive been down to the site reciently and met up with chris for a beer. there's no player cap for either side.
if it ends up with more axis or allied players then so be it, i doubt the forces were ever really 50 50.
if one side appears to be achieving lots due to higher numbers then the scenario's will be tailored to suit this.
there will be a few reenactors there who are converting to airsoft so should be lots of people you might have not seen before at other games on this forum.

Oh my, this sounds right up my ally. And 3 days makes it worth the flight over. Lots to get sorted out yet though...will see if I can work out a plan before the booking deadline.

What's the nearest airport?

BMI Baby operates from there to Amsterdam / Schiphol, so that is fortunate :) Used to fly out there quite a bit, travelling to Bakewell, Eckington and Chesterfield.

Excellent. If you need any field kit (i.e. can't bring it with you due to weight), let me know. :giggle:

12kg limit last time I flew out so good chance I will need something :good: I've become a pro at maximizing my carry-on limit though :giggle: as long as you can pretend your bag is light as a feather they normally don't make you weigh it in as well

Fritz:Medic/ regen rules. If you are hit on a contact you can be regened by a medic after 30 secs, if no medic is with you you must be carried to a rearline field hospital where you will wait 5 mins and re-enter the combat area. If you are hit and a medic or comrades cannot get to you after 5 mins you will deem to be KIA where you will have to go to your units secondary fallback position or rear HQ for re-assignment.

Am I correct in thinking that only a medic can regen a wounded player? Can a squad menber be assigned as medic?
