Already on the case ladies and gents. I've emailed my local tourism contact to ask him for some pubs to recommend. Ludlow isn't really a chavvy place. Two Michelin starred restaurants dontcha know.

This is from my tourism contact regarding pubs in the Ludlow:

Church Inn and Wheatsheaf are cosy with good beer. Also the Bull is fine too. Here's more suggestions:-

be nice to have a 'warm' catch up pre-game, get some hot food and comfy bed before we get let loose in the countryside

Since the land we're going to be playing on is FC, will there be some empty oil drums for a fire or similar? Not sure they would be to keen on the Churchill's Revenge slate lined pit - unless we replace the top cover afterwards.

No, just filled my last space, but I'm sure there'll be more takers if somebody books another room. (As previously stated, the rooms take 3 adults, and I know one room already has 4! I'm not saying owt about Yorkies and Jocks being tight....! :P )

There is floor space - and i'm bringing the pimp-schlaffen-matress, can be or will brolly be used by me with a sleep bag, let the 'old uns lol sleep between sheets so they can(yorkies) fight amonst themselves.

Steiner, just glad Kav is bunking with u lol AGAIN, well in closer proximity than me/him were at PBI

Not saying there anything wrong with him, i'm taking the big tent from Hurtgen and we have to share lol - at least we will have chairs and table this time to have some scoff - without that fuckin rain

Hi,

Are there any beds left in any rooms at the travelodge? If not I'll book one.

Cheers

Ranj

Ranj, I don't think the booked rooms have any spaces in them, but I think at least one person (Anthony) is looking to share - unless he's building his own Zelt palace! :D

Okay, I'm booked in to a B&B in ludlow, it's pretty central.

Has anyone made any more plans for meeting up?

I was just about to PM you Ranj to see you'd booked a room & had a spare slot. :slap: My orginal plan of staying with a friend in Shrewsbury has fallen through. Does anyone else need a room or am I going to have to opt for plan C and stay with relatives in Worcestershire?

Helga was supposed to be in the room I booked for the Yorkie Trio and me - she's not coming now, so a space is free.
