Aye Rhys, that's what the partisans are doing - claiming back their motherland. Germans have swept in uninvited - you ain't going to put up with that are you? It might be helpful to think of partisans as the French resistance were - trained by the regular army in guerrilla tactics, fighting a different type of war to the 'proper' soldier.

Just a thought for all the peeps out there deciding what to do ......you can play German at every WWII event , however you may only get the chance to go Russki or Partisan once this year .....
also since Chommers forgot, 
we have sent the NKVD out and rounded up Comrade Diggahski to lend a hand with the command of the Russians ..so official welcome Ben ! Oh yeah and we'll also have the IED ex Regs on board who are very good at hit and run .
Final mention , the terrain is tough , you will be walking a lot. If the thought of doing 4-5 miles in a day is daunting , either get fitter or think long and hard before booking. Both sides will be kept on the go pretty much all of the Saturday and the Sunday , and you will be evicted from sitting around the camp all day 
I could be tempted to do Russian for this actually, especially if I get my PPSH finished on time. I spent a fortune on a loadout for an "enemy at the gates" ostfront type game, which I won't really have the chance to use now, since this is a woodland game. Hmm, decisions, decisions!

sorry no , full 24 hours or not at all . Limited places etc . Only playing half the event isn't fair on those who want to play the full 24 hours. Been there -seen that

I assume anyone even suggesting that they might leave early cos of the weather will be shot (and not with just bbs)...
BTW, I can't make it, its the same weekend as my groups field training weekend... which will also involve getting cold and possibly wet outside for 24 hours... just not in Wales, instead in Kent. I suspect it'll be easier... But some folks won't be able to hack it even so.

well whilst me and craig were discussing this game last night my wife(whose been saying she wants to try airsoft out because the we always make the events sound so fun) asked if she could come as she fancies playing a russian partisan heh.
so be warned germans this lass can handle a rifle!
