NOTE: Raymond Nash has told me he's a CiA member, but I don't have any record of this. I've asked him to confirm his number and which games he has attended.

He wants to join AFRA 'to get more guns'. :slap:

I seem to remember him at Webby's game wearing a stetson or some-such farby shite.

I think he might have gone to Eagles. However, crap kit and a desire to buy guns doesn't make you a reenactor or really earn our endorsement

I'll be member 100 if you like!

Hmmmmmmm, how do we handle this one then. It's not come up before. If we are to refuse, what are our criteria for refusal?

The name Raymond Nash does not ring any bells with me....

As to membership, refer him to the rules for AFRA membership via CiA - http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/php/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=6684

When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Which means we can't really refuse his application!

Since the responsibility for who is accepted for AFRA is the AFRA executive, why not drop Dalby a PM expressing concerns (he has been to one of our games but not sure of kit level and reason for wanting to join AFRA is to buy RIFs). See what he says...

Yep, Dalby's refused it based on the fact he's not 'active' in the battle reenactment scene.

Christ, in his first PM to me he said, "How do I get a card so I can buy more guns."

I'm going to edit the AFRA thread so people are clear that it's for active members and not a gun-buying loophole.

Stephen, I forwarded requests for membership to you at the beginning of October from pvtjohnny, MartinR, Iwanejko and macscrooge - have you received them? Martin Rapier says he hasn't received a card yet.

Yeah, I haven't sent the cards out yet. Mainly because they're in my loft in a box that's buried behind a load of other stuff and I keep forgetting.

Will sort it.
