Hopefully people don't mind me using a G43. It's an m14 conversion but locked to semi auto. I can see if I can get my hands on a kar98 if people would rather I use a boltie.

G43 is fine mate. :good:

Oh and Chris, I'm working on a new Bayou accent a la True Detective. I have merely scratched the surface!

Hmm, I see the US Infantry are already full up...

I do not have M42s. Can I assume M41s and M1937 trousers are acceptable as glider infantry as per the middle drawing on your example, or are you only after paratroops?

Charlie

I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.

Up to you Charlie, that would be fine if you want to be airborne, but if you want to go as US infantry we'll make the squads bigger if necessary until we hit maximum numbers.

Would an MG34 gunner be acceptable for this game?

Yep that would be fine, but we will be limiting the number of HMG's at this event - if you can state when booking if you are intending to carry a HMG and we'll book you in as the gunner for that section.

Sorry if it's a repost here, but are any Waffen-SS slots gonna show up in any shape or form?

Afraid not, there will be no SS units at this event.

I'm sure you would be able to borrow Heer or FJ kit from someone if you stick a post up in the borrowing thread?

I can see the booking thread is already rammed with people attending which is fantastic to see! However is booking now full or can I pay and still be added onto the list?

Hello mate,

We're fully booked up for now I'm afraid. There is always the chance the someone may have to drop out though so if you let us know what side you want to play as we can add you to the waiting list.

So total newbie to ww2 re-enactment stuff here.

Luckily have managed to get a place (US) via a cancellation, I may have missed it but what time do we need to be at the site by?

I will be travelling from Kent and can car share if anyone wants...or if anyone wants to offer.......

I really look forward to seeing you all..

Paul

Where will be parking for this, in the central bit or along the perimeter track?

Might come down Friday night but not sure yet as it is daughter No. 2s birthday so depends what she wants to do.

Cheers
Martin

Parking will NOT be in the central bit. We hope to fit everyone on the side road.
