Hello lads / lasses.

I'm obviously new to ww2 airsofting and have been nosing around for some apparel so I can set myself up and join in the fun.
I've come across this reproduction German tunic and could do with an experts perspective on what it is.
Unfortunately it's too small for me in the chest but it looks cool and I'd love to know the idea behind the reproduction.
Any help ?

Thanks a lot folks

I think its a 70/80s west german army tunic (tropical, police or naval or some such) with repro insignia on.

The label inside its absolutely classic western german military during the cold war period.

Edit: the open collar cut is classically post war / cold war although they retained pebble finish buttons up to the 1990s.

I've a poleizei tunic in bottle green that identical in cut except its in wool.

It could be east german cold war but the labels look western, given that its made in Koln... Id say west german.

edit: and as tropical weight (by the look) tunic it might be a bit thin for most uk wwii games.

edit 2: Its got a 96 date stamp so unless its old cold war stock (very possible) could it not be a modern(ish) tropical or naval tunic?

My germans not good enough to give you an accurate reading of the label, soz.

Not realy up on Bunderswehr insignia but I'd have a guess the red litzen represents artillery.

The insignia is ww2, or at least its meant to be. The eagle has a swastika.

Gadge is spot on I think. Litzen is bundy with a repro eagle.
They used to be a tenner at the shows these type of tunics.

The label is simply washing instructions - a drip-dry cotton & polyester mix. :D
