Any particular pattern ? BL at Spearhead does some though think they dot44

edited to add he has other options (splinter, blue-grey etc)

Ooh, they're different. Mine's just a wool tube. I wear it most of the time when skirmishing, as it covers up my lillywhite neck! :lol:

Toques can be found in either grey or green wool. Ebay is your friend, there's normally a couple for sale on there.

I've seen SueSue sell em before, not just for a while . Need a plain wool one for a willy warmer after DDay . :wink:

Edit - seen Barry Lyndons, it's the wool tube I'm after .

BTW, the modern British Army (green) headover is nice jersey knit, softer then wool!

Zeltplane does them quite cheap too I think. Gotta agree with CW on the Brit army one. I have a merkalon version and it's great.

I found my uk forces one indespensible on exercise, makes a good scarf and you can pull it up over your head for sleeping.

good call gadge never thought of that i nomaly sleep with ski cap on not very comfy :( but have just orderd a sleepy toques :lol: :lol: :lol:

You could have borrowed the vintage balaclava of passion killing, not only useful for that, but it also has an immense comedy value to anyone seen wearing it :lol: .... thank gawd noone at levisham saw me sleeping in it and I remembered to remove it before going to the little ladies room :oops: :rofl:
