MP40 pouches are perfect (not really surprising :P ) - tight to start with but soon loosen up with use as the canvas is very stiff.

Fine for Thompson mags too although you might prefer to drop a bit of packing into the bottom of each cell to lift the mag to a graspable height.

MP44 mag pouches are only usefull for MP44 mags , or CA33 ones for the MP44 clones . An MP44 mag was thinner than a CA33 one and take some easing in .

Top tip for MP40 mag pouches, soak then in a very mild solution of bleach for about 5 minutes, and then wash / rinse them a lot . It softens the canvas up and fades down that "just been issued" green look .

Hi there Bigray

MP44 mags are a different shape - slightly curved, MP40s are straight - forgive me if you knew that already - I got mine from Richard Underwood but Anthony at Militaria-net gives good service and his prices are keen - :D

Hi Bigray

Looks good - pouches look fine - :D Don't forget you will need to factor in VAT when they arrive in the UK, possibly duty - if any is payable, plus VAT on that as well - and a 'handling' or 'admin' charge collected by the courier or Parcelforce. Should still work out cheaper though - :D

If the total is less than $50 ask them to mark it as a gift and it should get through VAT and duty free.
