we dont really have any strict rules. at some events we keep the modern tents slightly away from the ww2 tents but otherwise thats the only real restriction. as for inside your tent.... no rules at all
warmth and a good nights kip are a priority (spesh like last weekend and churchills revenge) therefore there are no rules about what you can and cannot have in your tent 
.
As WW2 airsoft isn't living history then comfort and well-being are the priority. So yes, modern kit is fine.
Zelt tents are cool but period or post war pup tents are fine, bright blue or orange nylon isn't!
At D-Day one chap slept wrapped only in his greatcoat - authentic maybe but he didn't have a comfortable night's sleep!

This may seem a bit of a odd question, but when you guys camp over night, what are the rules?
I mean, if you make a tent out of 4 zeltbahn (so you can stay close to the game zone), does that mean you can fill it with modern stuff e.g. bivi bag, messtins, sleeping matt and so on?

Yep , ideally use an old looking canvas tent, post war etc is fine , Zelts are uber fine, but put modern sleeping gear inside. Dayglow orange tentage stops any camp looking period, but at the end of the day it's only a means to an end . There are no hard and fast rules, however the more period the camping looks the better most people would agree.
If your worried about a modern tent spoiling the canvas around it in a in game camp, chucking a bit of camo net over the top always does the trick. That stuff covers tanks you know

LMAO ah my blue tent at d-day did stand out a lot. i remember chapel went to all the hard work nof doping all proper getting the esbit etc and they we were sleeping mats,sleeping bags gas stove and bbq's lol so no rules really
If I end up camping at an event this year... it'll be in this... 
But with modern sleeping bag etc...
at which point there will be no space for anyone else cos you've pitched and taken over the whole camping area
