For a month now i have waited for an AEG that i ordered from hong kong to arrive. Now this is not a psot about the customs fiasco that goes on but what they have done to the gun when they have been inspecting it. First of all it looks as if they have just dipped the end of the gun in a tin of yellow paint and i know they will say something like this has been done cause its a imitation firearm and all that crap but honestly! The second is the most severe issue it seems that while they where fucking about with it they have tried to force the stock round to lock it in but instead of thinking its a bit tight and there may be a release button for it they have forced it till the trigger guard has snapped and now the whole back end of the gun wobbles like its made of jelly! have a look at the pics below to see what i am on about!
God old british monkey handling at its best...

happy new year all by the way!

WTF?????? I mean the kak handed breaking of the reciever I can ALMOST understand, but what the hell do they think they're doing painting (or dipping) the tip??? I'd be straight out for legal advice on that one, as they have just destroyed that RIF.

Just thought also, that's an AGM one isn't it? With the state of affairs in china, you'll be lucky to get another one! What a bunch of ****s.

I haven't heard of HMC&R painting guns before and I honestly can't believe they would waste the time - it isn't even a requirement or would serve any purpose anyway. Are you sure the HK seller didn't do it?

As the order took so long to come do you think it might be a returned product shipped back out to a hapless UK punter?

You have a suspicious mind Chommers, but you may well be onto something.

The reason it took so long with the order has been the backed up sorting for the border agency requirong my ukara number and all that not the actual supplier being rubbish.

Airsoft World list the AGM Bakelite as in stock @ £139.95 :

Whether or not the seller would be able to replace it is another matter.

WRT the painting: If HMCR did it because of the VCRA, it'd be 50%+, but they'd be more likely to just seize and destroy it. Looks more like the US requirement to me.

No way in hell that HMR&C have anything to do with the paint on the end of the gun...
