'Tis a Scottish term of endearment for a sister or female friend, etc. Frau Steiner is Scottish and her family use it regularly.

well someone has been a busy naughty boy and has acquired an M10 revolver and a DBoys K98K rifle (plus extra mags). Also a new BD jacket and sten mag pouch (7 mag one) from WPG. I also now have Ox&Bucks capbadge, S Staffs capbadge, also acquired 49 Div patches, airborne patches and GPR titles-quite fancy GPR for airborne games-after all some poor chap must have got you there so why not old me?

Did you get stung with any customs and/or other charges form WPG?

Gas mask bags/cases were not often blancoed. There was only one blanco type cleared for use on gasmask bags[respirator cases]. That was the powdered type often found in a 'salt shaker' type cardboard tub. If you think a block of KG3 is hard to find try finding one of those. I'm not suggesting you find one to blanco your bag, really just giving you a good excuse not to. It wasn't always done.

The lightweight/assault respirator case was never blancoed, its gas/water impervious so it would just slide off...

The mk6/7 box respirator worn on the front was rarely blancoed IIRC.

wow! that looks good Helga !..did you make this one yourself, or is it is one of Antony's ?

A number of new female members to Tiger1 are on the look out for upgrading there different uniforms/portrayals.
The one you have posted looks great. Can you be so kind as to tell me the official German name/description of this type of tunic.

Yes its from Anthony aka Militaria-net ;). It needs a cufftitle and a trade patch). The hat mind is an adapted panzer one (anthony had started tinkering with it, I merely made it better  ). Does come with silver collar tress, but I wasn't sure about it so its been taken off, also indication of rank persay. Can't knock it for a complete ensemble ready to go 8)

Official name of all female tunics from their documentation (personalausweis/einsatzbuch) is .... are you ready ..... Jacket :D and what be part of the females uniform or kostum  they're all designated that name and not M44 etc (bar the doublebreasted ones which are .... Wolljacke  ), there is also things like Dienstjacke for LW flak helfers.

I assume you mean the two types of SS auxillary (they wore the same tunic)? If so 'SS Kriegshelferinnen & SS Helferinnen, word to the wise though, the Kreigshelferinnen included women that worked at KZ's, where as the Helferinnen were merely the auxillaries in signals, typing, office duties, and at the Reichschule.
