Spearhead. Though in retrospect, it would have been quicker and only a couple of quid more from SOF. It's a good fit (if a bit short) and a nice, faded colour. Now I'm kitted out ready for Husky (barring the '42)!

just got my copy today of Histoire & Collection's "D-Day Paratroopers: The Americans" by Christophe Deschodt (ISBN: 2-915239-29-0)

im told its an excellent resource.

im told its an excellent resource.

I have a couple of books from H&C - great as part of my reference section

Booooo Traitor! Just put together another allied one...Rangers! Big Red One (Webbys fav.)! British Commandos, Brit Airbourne, Brit Infantry...Canadian? Anything but the smelly old Germans. :P

well i didnt mention i was also looking into doing a rangers loadout. Variety is the spice of life as they say!!

This is a couple of months off yet though...im still trying to complete my airborne kit first. just gotta get myself some webbing.

Leather D-ring, a pair of leather Zelt straps, a Zelt and a helmet cover.... in plane tree. My HG loadout is complete! :twisted:

All from militaria-net, of course! 8)

More bling ...PZAss badge, anti partisan badge, another EKI , and a 24 hour "tiger " watch , no idea how authentic that is other than all the other repro watches have disappeared off ebay recently

He is wearing a 1942 issue Collar, Dog, Leather so he can get away with the posting.

Shame he cropped off his head though so you can't actually see the collar, but never mind...
