“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."

Picked up the following at Belters yesterday.
Full WA marked K98 stock, late war laminated version, with ironmongery, for £40. Bloody nice condition.
Pak 36/37 Ammo tin (my bargain of the day!)
12 STEN mags (no, i aint telling you what these are for LOL)
DF Cuff title, more collar tabs, other insignia crap.
However, I was dissapointed to see so many A grade rip-off merchants there (i.e. i can buy the same item - and get it shipped in from mainland Europe - for 50% LESS than certain dealers at Beltring were charging!)

vsr clone bar10 rifle to put into the enfield wood and metalwork that I picked up from beltring on thursday, all I need is an outer barrel and the receiver band and these will be machined from scratch.
gives me something to work on whilst I eagerly await for warren to build my No4, the only thing better than having one enfield is having two of the buggers!
and I picked up a sten silencer canvas band to fit onto my sten silencer when I get round to finishing it!
