It was me that shot you! I thought I shot you in the neck as well? Anyway, my Tanaka was chrono'ed at an average of 479fps on the day, with a highest reading of 484fps (with .2's by the way!). The velocity the Tanaka can achieve is dependent on the gas used and the ambient temperature on the day, plus any upgrades fitted. It was the sheer weight of the .43 ammo that hurt so much. Going back to that particular shooting, I'd stalked up on you and a couple of other yanks who were looking the other way but when I looked up, I was only about 10 metres away, so I actually crawled away to about 35 metres before I turned and opened fire on you, so that I was actually outside the minimum engagement distance (which was 20 metres).

In my post above, about the barrel and other bits, I was referring to my springer K98, which should be a lot more accurate and consistent with its' upgrades than the Tanaka one I have.

You fired two shots at me, first one hit me in the shoulder which hurt enough lol then you shot me in the neck. I'm just glad you didn't shoot from 10mtrs away! The one in the neck was when I had the tantrum and threw my helmet on the ground, that hurt a tad too lol

I obviously need to adjust the sights on my K98 guys, I was aiming at your groins!

Seriously though, my intention was not to hurt anyone and I aimed "centre mass" for all of my shots for that reason. Unfortunately, it was my first time out with the Tanaka, so I couldn't guarantee my shot placement.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
