By Land, Sea and Air - Illustrated History of the South Staffs - from the library - have to give it back by 17/11 as it is on inter library loan, but I wil definitely be getting myself a copy.
THE BEST HAUL EVER!
I have just purchased from my local car boot sale, from an old family cleaning out their house and garage...
A British 2-man tent bag (ideal for my Brit two man tent!) for £1!
A British 'Thermos' flask in rather okay condition. Paint and labelling, cork and glass inner is still brilliant, just a bit dented on the outside. These sell for around £80 for a good condition, £40 for a rusty one. I got mine for £1!
A long black leather pouch for holding the Vickers MMG 'Sangster' trench/auxiliary tripod. Dated 1915! I haven't a clue what this is worth, but Sangster tripods are very rare now, so who knows what a complete leather carry case for one is worth! 
All mine for £1.50! I also found a spent .303 case rolling around in the bottom - '49 dated though.
Similar cases were produced during WW2, along with using the original WW1 produced tripod cases, as oil can holders. Here's a very similar 1941 dated brown leather one (The 1915 leather of mine is in far better condition):
A WW2 British No. 2 MkII Morse Key (early version with the fibre insulation disk around the base of the knob, rather than the dedicated rubber sleeve). Worth around £20 to a collector, maybe more. Mine for £1!
Pictured below is a foreign copy of the British No. 2, to give you an idea what it looks like, except mines mounted on a larger base plate and is more complete (thumb-screws not missing etc...):
And here's one of the later No.2 MkII keys with the dedicated rubber sleve instead of the earlier fibre disc:
A WW2 German 1944 'T1' Morse Key "Seimans Key" with its connection wire and plug and nippled rubber base cover still attached. Worth around £30 to a collector, maybe more. Mine for £1!
A similar one shown below (mines got the proper single jacketed wire attached along with two-pin plug):
A WW2 British "Case, Spare Parts, No.5 - Set 19" for radio sets. Empty steel box, but still contain original contents list on the inside of the lid along with a rubber slab/pad for packing, and great hand stencilled very period sign-writing on the front and sides. Brought it for 0.50p!
So yeah, to summarise, all these relics for £6.00! I am a very happy little Tommy!

a nice leather wallet, never used, still in the original box they were delivered in , wartime period but not sure exact date, a quid. small pewter hip flask ( modern made but in a lovedly 20's art deco style) 3 quid.
Finally got around to getting some US M43 Paratrooper bottoms with the leg pockets!
TM Mac10 mag which is almost identical to an M3 mag,
So add the internals of an MP7, the shell of a Hudson M3 mix in some Mac10 mags and you get an all weather M3

US enlisted mans mustard shirt, tie, m1911 mag pouch and a colt holster and finally some CPL's stripes. Piced up the shirt from Ebay £10.50. Bargain.
