My Pirschen M36 tunic turned up today! Very happy with it. (Not so happy with 3 hours sewing insignia on it though!).

Again, it was exactly 4 weeks after ordering it. Perfect fit as well. Makes my Sturm one look, well, cheap for some reason.

there pretty good copies - only thing is they are slightly short in height than the '37 original and '54 post war metal mugs I already have.
I just need to try and clean the inside of the bottles, so they can actually be used.
They are a Mil-tec/sturm repro so expect them to be everywhere by the end of next week.

Sodium hydroxide works a treat for stripping all crap from aluminium bottles - comes as bright and clean as brand new! (Caustic soda - can prob get it from Wilkos as a drain cleaner. Do it in a well ventilated area as hydrogen gas will be give off, use rubber gloves and eye protection as caustic soda is skin unfriendly!)

Heh, I couldn't resist putting a match to the gas - POP! (reminded me of one of the few fun bits of chemistry at school. The other good one was girl's hair catching alight when they leant across lit bunsen burners 
)
