I was gonna do 2nd Rangers, but that unit seems to be oversubscribed! Recently, I've been thinking of doing 29th Infantry division.

British Marching Compass Mk1. Won on ebay, just went round to the guy's house to pick it up... happy!

I also just received some buttons for my belgian leather jerkin... they're a bit big, but are definitely a suitable style.

Last week I received an order from SoF.

- Bayonet frog for the No1 bayonet. (they actually sent me an Indian frog for the No4, the Mark III version. This has been returned and hopefully I'll have the right one soon.)
- Whistle lanyard
- leather watch strap with dial cover. Now has my argos

My 1903 from Rhys is ready to go so that's my weaponry sorted for CR. :D

You test-fire on CDs?
I use empty bean/cola cans. It's cheaper than wasting CDs.

They were old Data CDs that needed destroying anyway, I'm a bit of a plank, but not that much of a plank

Nah, I just didn't have any cans etc to hand as the missus had made me tidy the kitchen and clean the whole flat last night. It's no fun when she's ill, she's got too much time to think up jobs for me to do :x .

Kermit might be able to answer that one, he's been rigging a field telephone system up recently.
