New made black jerry cans, 1 in traditional 20l capacity and a rather cute 10l. Painted them for water carrying.

Just got a few things.

Small pack with L-straps (anyone got a guide as to how the straps are put on?)
British 2 man tent

Hopefully you can see on this pic:

then the two metal hooks loop into the top brass on your main webbing pouches to hold it all in place.

Hmm, that looks a lot like the pack that was used by the Dutch well into the 70's (to be replaced by a rubberized one that was used with the same old webbing deep into the '80s).

What pattern webbing is this? I wonder if it matches the whole set from my old Dutch kit.

It's just a standard '37patt small pack. You're correct; Dutch ones (usually a dark bluey-grey - sometimes incorrectly sold over-here as "RAF") are near identical copies :good:

The greyish blue ones are in fact Dutch Airforce kit (KLu) Army (KL) used olive green.

That's good news, should I ever consider going Brit. I'm halfway there. I should have a '50s Dutch wool jacket somewhere that's pretty much identical to the Brit WW2 pattern and I have a 1943 stamped helmet as well :good:

And a German mountain anorak (still blaming Seanebabes and Stof :P )

Oh and a bolt action springer G98 (apparently), until I get the two inches cut off to make it a K98.

More bits from Derby carboot:

Raincap/Groundsheet, near-mint unissued (only slight storage marks), green 1954 dated.
'58patt backpack, '84 dated, used, but hardly any signs of wear and looked to be unissed at first glance.
£6 for both!
