Yith is correct, the deact spec for bolt actions did not change as it did for automatics.
If you look at Rytons website they have a separate section for old spec deacts.
D&B are consistently more expensive for the same thing though they often have a better selection. There are only so many sources for weapons to deactivate.

Ah thanks for clearing that up. :good: I think the law has changed a fair bit though over the years as the old style 6 shooting revolvers were apparently the easiest to reactivate (good damm criminals!) im just glad i was able to get a few old spec deac's with loads of moving parts

But Mosin hmmm thats tempting too tempting... and everyone else seems to be getting russian loadouts! :giggle: :happyclap: :happydance:

I was looking at how cheap these are going for atm, and have been tempted myself to get one. Where did you get yours from? I have had many great dealings with D&B Mil and there prices started at £165

I got mine from chelmsford militaria, 42' dated for £110 http://www.chelmsfordmilitaria.com/inde ... w=251&iz=0

A complete, 1940 dated, British Mk2 helmet, from Malvern. (Only found one dealer with sensible prices, among the overpriced tat that most were selling!).

1939 dated British Type D field telephone in really good condition, for £25.
Near imaculate post-war British Type J field phone, for £10.
Pair of unissued anklets, for £5.
Unissued helmet net, for £3.

SMLE No.4 top front wood in great condition, for £2.
1942 dated (nice clear date and Manufactures stamps) British infantry spade, covered in 1960s re-issue paint (which picks off easily, perfect for restoration), for £8.

Malvern:
Front Seam Swivel Bale M1 helmet shell. At £15 this seemed like the bargain of the century, however some research shows that the liner is 1952 Belgian, and I think the shell is as well, though it looks like someone has taken the rim off and moved the seam from the back to the front. Though, still very happy as I was just after one for airsofting and this will be perfect after restoration. Still £15 isn't a bad price for that and I already have a real WWII shell and liner anyway. :)
