M35 Soviet tunic, that fits, at last.
2 more Tanaka k98 mags.
Tanaka Zf41 scope and mount.
US Army Patches, Flashes and Ovals, B J Stein. Obvious that one, quite an imposing tome.
Rifleman, Victor Gregg with Rick Stroud, one mans story of WW2 and after. What a varied time he had too.

From a while back, discovered in Long Eaton, Notts...:

An unissued/unused reconditioned Dynamotor "11 Watt, No.1" (a mechanical LT-to-HT power supply unit for a WS62!) for £15!

Have now swapped this to a Military Wireless collector aquaintence for yet another Type F MkII field telephone, with transit box - needs a bit of restoration/tidying though, but works great.
The dynamotor was worth far more than I paid for it or this telephone I swapped it for, but I'm nice like that

Also, from a few hours of painstaking measurement and drawing out, I've aquired a full set of accurate sewing plans for Brit' denim battledress trousers.

Haha, with a flat paper plan, anything is scalable and tailorable!
Battledress denims are meant to be big and baggy, to go over serges, so you can't really tell if they're too big for you anyway...
I've managed to a acquire some brilliant 'early war' colour greeny-brown denim from here in Derby for my first pair, as a prototype.
Enough material cost me just over £15. Which won't be bad for a pair of denims - if I ignore the man-hours making them.
I must admit, I had thought about making a few pairs to sell. Would be handy to those who are smaller or larger than 'standard' sizes.

"The Way Ahead" DVD from, of all places, Edinburgh Woollen Mills.

Good good :good:
One of, if not my favorite, WW2 war film!

Too true, an awesome look at how things were compared to now. Being in infantry training just now, it's nice to be able to compare certain people to ones in the film  and good to look at how things are, in truth, very much the same today with regards to training !

Bought an M40 greatcoat with large collar
M40 trousers
M42 tunic
Loads of insignia
M38 feldmutze
belt and buckle.....looking for an MP40 now !

Will upload pics of the kit so far, German, American and British...

I got a second MP40 via the forum, a P08 Luger for delivery at Sevastopol via the forum. Stocked up on .36bbs and gas just in case its warm enough at Sevastopol for the Tanaka.
I also topped up on Hexi and windproof/waterproof matches, a quilted space blanket and some other little admin/housekeeping/safety bits.

King Arms Deluxe Thompson, very solid! Bit hot atm firing at 390 FPS but will bring down shortly. Anyone know if TM gearboxes can be used as a straight swap?

I found one of the SMW splinter zeltbahns with the printing error. Snapped that up as it saved a fortune on importing one.
Stoneleigh also furnished a 37 e-tool cover in fine condition for reasonable money, a pair of original size 12 US Army socks.
A holster for the Luger P08, sling for MP40, some more .303 link. Brown face cam cream as that seems to be the only colour Brit airborne were issued.
A panzerfaust 30, handy for those Normandy hedgerows.
Some badges from Months Locker.
A wartime gents Hercules bicycle, needs some air in the tyres but rides quite well.

Braces are the definitive 1940s clothing item, I've even got them on my Cold War DDR trousers (rather than the piece of string I used to use, no belt loops).

I have recently acquired a 37 pattern large pack so I can do full marching order now, plus a K98 sling and leather ammo pouches.

Jackboots also back from the cobblers with nice new soles and hobnails.

Cheers

French M47 greatcoat, large size, (possibly slightly too large, but I won't complain), looks like NOS.

Took me 3 hours to iron out the storage creases but it looks nice and smart now.

Edit : Hmm, maybe it is too big.
