French M47 greatcoat, large size, (possibly slightly too large, but I won't complain), looks like NOS.

Took me 3 hours to iron out the storage creases but it looks nice and smart now.

Edit : Hmm, maybe it is too big.

Yay! Greatcoats are good until you want to move......

I have a No.4 Enfield rifle! :D Unfortunately too powerful (450fps) to use but I have one................. (Until I find out exactly what spring I need)...

Garand belt, guess that's the start of a standard GI impression then!

Assorted boot polishes (the timpsons ones I have are too soft for my liking) and dubbin, a full 30 cal bandolier and some empty Garand clips. I didn't really need those but got them for a great price.

Viva Arms ZF41 scope for Tanaka K98.
I dont know how it shoots but it looks very good.
A much better copy of the original than the Tanaka version.
It is a very small scope and of course only 1.5 x magnification.

2 original size 68 German helmet shells with liners.
1 x M35 a Norwegian repaint that might just stay in those colours
1 x M42 in dark grey that is getting a full on rough Ral 6006 no decal combat finish.

A nice period pump for my wartime Hercules bicycle.

Today from Derby's Cattle Market Car Boot Sale:

An "Outfit, Anti-Dimming, Mk7" tin, with contense, in great condition (a minor dent, but great paint/print work still) and a British soldiers draw-string personal affects bag, with name stamped on the side - 75p for both items!
4 British entrenching tool helve blanks (the turned wood helve, just without the metal end fitted - 50p each (there were 20 of these on offer, so I picked the best 4)

A card from the PO saying that they tried to deliver at 1245. No number of hours waiting specified on the back, but when I went to the sorting office, they said they no longer cater for same day delivery returns...

Er... why?? So where is the van with my parcels in, if it didn't return to the local depot? Is it parked up outside somebody's house, with all the parcels still in it?? What a load of guff.

Yeah they once told me "we don't deliver parcels to flats" their exact words.
Bear in mind I lived in Glasgow city centre at this point. Where there's about 60 houses and 200,000 flats.
