Forced into town today to drop daughter off to new job & persuaded to buy shoes (the only footwear I have bought in the last five years have been for airsoft  ) but cheered myself up with a wander round remaindered bookshop and picked up '1100 miles with Monty' and 'Stirling's men' both £3 each. No idea why I bought two books as it takes me a year to read one!

This week I decimated any monetary funds I once had with a unhealthy number of things from the brand new "Mall" in Derby, among the vast levels of clothes, star wars related merchandise and Quark Express 7 (software) these included some WW2 model tanks and a Russian style fur hat - it should cheekily pass off as World War 2 winter wear.

I also got my MP40 magazines from RSOV.

After weeks of trying to make up my mind, i've finally ordered some decent hobnailled low boots. Gone for Underwoods ones - they look FAR better than the SOF ones, and only a fiver more.

And yes, I *did* ask him if he had them in stock when i ordered lol

I'd watch out for free gifts of pineapple rings in any parcels from Richard

I haven't bought anything for ages  , and having sat surrounded by FJ all weekend, I've decided its def my next impression for airsofting if I can source stuff cheap enough.

Note the cheap comment is because I'm going to have to massacre it, to make it fit me cos noone does midget sized rompers  and I am not paying a small fortune to then re do it all myself  and all being well there will be a secret ensemble appear next year that then ties in with the falshy impression .............

I've heard good and bad about sanjay, people that haven't received stuff, or that have and not been to the measurements provided :? Hence rather than fork out and risk getting something that still needs adjustment/is wrong/or never turns up, I'd rather do the alterations to one off the shelf (smallest has a 10" excess for me, quite a bit if your running around to get snagged up on stuff, and that would be over wool kit :? )

If I could get the gubbins together to cobble one myself it would be done pretty quickly  Olive might be the way to go, but then its sourcing huge metal zips, fabric etc etc :? I need to visit a place in Harrogate that specialises in "military" fabrics at some point about wool ........ but they won't be doing any suitable camo and certainly not in my price range  Repro zelts could be an option I guess :?

I told Richard, Anthony and Chris (32" is not a small waist :raspberry: not when your a 28" ) at the weekend they should stock things in midget size to which they all laughed at me :( Boots being needed for this in a 4 or 5 (if I wear 2 pairs of thick socks  ) so anyone see's any LET ME KNOW (please) that no fluffer sells , don't think my magnums are appropriate not to mention I've also got to think about a helmet for this :?

Nowt like being awkward huh

Now im suprised that the hong kong suppliers cant do stuff in your size seeing as the average asian guy is a lot smaller than your average uk guy.

 you'd think huh but no they don't mainly as its the European and American market that buys their kit ;) that said they have short legs  not overly large waisted and a 32" inside leg means its impossible atm to get something off the shelf, my M44 trews are too short but its hidden mostly by my gaiters ;)
