I bought a British Army 1 Gallon Oil Tin.

I needed a better looking alternative to carrying a plastic oilcan in the jeep.

Still waiting on my Ostfront Order, the New Speed Graphic, Vintage Kodak camera Tri-pod, a pair of russian boots and some tanker goggles :(

My Feldflasche and gas mask canister finally arrived today. Ebay Germany is a wonderful place, full of bargains! Have also just bid on and won a German medic waterbottle for a LOT less than you'd pay from SOF or another UK retailer.

SOF strike again! My shovel carrier turned up. Just two problems with it...

1: Its the open backed type, i wanted the closed back type
2: The bloody belt loops are sewn on the wrong side!

Oh well, better send it back....

I tend to use Bablefish http://world.altavista.com/ for translations, it's quick and easy to use :)

Yep, that's what I used. You end up with a lot of gobbledigook but it gives you a rough idea what the description says. I've seen waterbottles go on there for 20 euros and less!

Yith where did you get the hi power slide from? Is it plastic or a metal one?

All work nicely :)

Hipower slide is plastic. Unfortunately its the lightweight version and doesn't have the same finish as the rest of my hipower. It works though. :)

Revolver needed a bit of tweaking... there are some rubbers in the shells that hold the bbs in place prior to firing. They had shrunk with age and I needed to add a tiny bit of wadding around the outside to make them hold the bbs.

I'm getting about 220fps out of it on abbey predator and it holds enough gas for several reloads... not surprising as it is a proper 6 shooter! lol

There is no hop, but the barrel effectively extends right to the back of the cylinder. The bbs are held at the rear of the shells.

I've now got propane in it, I've not checked fps, but it isn't leaking! Thats the main worry with a revolver as there's no pesky blow back to break.

Mechanism all seems good and the gun makes a nice noise when fired. Its all plastic except for some worky bits, but has a lot more heft to it than my KWC Colt Python and feels nice and solid.

I love the feel of the M10... initially the grip felt rather short, but now it just feels so damn pointable.

I reckon I may have to get a Tanaka M10 Military and Police as well... thats a 11 shot gun and is actually a war time model rather than the post war one that this Marushin gun is.

BTW, the gun is 2nd hand. The seller said he'd had it for 6 years. As far as I can work out Marushin released it in 1988! :)

The markings are a laugh! They obviously didn't have a license... There's SMITII & WLSSON and .38 S& .SPL... lol!

I got both of these direct from Japan through a rather nice contact I've found. He found the M10 on Yahoo Auctions Japan and after a bit of surfing myself I found the slide in the same place. There was a full metal kit for the Browning as well, the smokey's one, but it was way out of my price range!

Together these items have cost me
