Has Caen already been done? Or Berlin? I'm still thinking!

i said get some models to do it, :)

i dont think i could pull it off, (dressing as a schoolgirl that is )

on a serious note, any resistance type game would be good.

but i think, the resistance should be able to pull weapons at any point, that would put some tension in every stop and search. it wouldnt be like arhnem (where if they didnt have an armband on, they just got ignored) the resistance would be good if people stayed in charicter, and didnt just play to get kills

Should the need arise i'll happily dress in Bavarian traditional clothes, a Russian lady or a German child soldier in the streets of Berlin :D

Definitely liking the resistance concept - it will be good for games which require tighter uniformity but still continue CiA's main aim and policy of "WW2 airsoft for all" so to speak.

I just want to upset the applecart mid game and annoy the poop out of people  that and I've read about women resistance workers  so would be kinda cool to pretend 8)

PS not sure if Lederhosen would be good for airsofting those bare shins  not to mention they have to be THE most unflattering male ensemble ever made

Aaaaahhh. This explains a lot! If you knew some of the things we were doing when we didn't have armbands on, you wouldn't have ignored us!!

Do the scenarios have to be true? Or based on true? Is that what were going for? Or if there was a scenario that was detailed enough could that be an option? I still think assault on Berlin sounds fun.

They should be based around true events as much as possible imho....although with Wotan we will be pushing the artistic license envelope a little further than we have before!

1944 France: Mixed group of U.S Paratroopers and British Parachutist link up and are trapped as German infantry rushes through the Falaise gap. They must hold their position until Armoured support arrives in the form of Nigels Tank and Jeep plus U.S infantry. [/b

That way everyone gets what they want, Brit, US, assorted German units. What dya think? Plus I fancy getting Nigels 30. Cal in some kind of fixed position.

LETS HAVE SOME FEEDBACK!!!!

I dont think thats a strong enough scenario for a whole days play to be honest.

Good idea for 2 hour game but not a whole day.

Personally I'd rather see single faction game s as i believe that it would get some cameraderie going among the allies. As it is there is still too much brits vs yanks 'banter' to make playing together as a single side effective.

What do you mean find a site put it on? Does that mean you like the idea or what? Honestly I don't have th organisational skills to do something like that, I could have a look at some sites but as for actually arranging it I wouldn't know where to start. If you're saying that because of my comments about CR I apologise; but people asked for ideas and I just gave you an idea which I though could be quite exciting.

Is that what you meant, just trying to make a point?

You've mis read me it wasn't intended as a dig . :D Anyone coming up with ideas for games is good, and if you have an idea that would make a good game then I'd ask everyone ot consider trying ot put on an event . Stubble and Heide have put on two very successful training days , and TBH all it takes is a chat with your local site owner . As I've said before we will only ever put on a limited amount of games due to other commitments , we would dearly love ot see people have a go themselves.

If you have a local site you play at approach them and try to get a date . We are committed to helping out anyone putting on such a day in terms of advice, forum space , even props . If you book it 2-3 months in advance there will be plenty of time to get players interested , and with all the amount of kit forum members are buying I'd suggest we are all gagging for more games, you'd be pretty much garunteed 30-40 from here alone . The game doesn't have ot be epic especially if it's a first one .

The Falaise pocket is a good idea, we looked at doing it this year , but ran out of time with other games already scheduled.
