Well I've finally got the smell of smoke out of our kit I think, however I've found che has snagged one of the legs on his trews  I managed to rip the posterior area  how glad am I that I wore dark thermals on saturday  thankfully mines literally the stiching has come undone so minimal to repair :D

Anyways am sure someone mentioned on here using the wonderweb stuff to attach their insignia using it, so I'm just wondering how well it has bonded ? Thankfully the hole will be covered by his jack boots/assault boots an gaitors however to prevent it from getting any worse I want to reenforce the wool fabric before I herman munster it with the sewing maching, and I thought I may use fabric bonding type stuff between the wool and whatever I choose to use as the hidden patch.

So if anyone can help TA :D

I used copydex and a small bit of cotton to patch a hole in my M36 jacket after Arnhem . It's still there now , and it hides the repair better than stitching.
