Yeah Rich, when you can see what you're buying before you actually buy it. I often get the feeling they assume you wouldnt tell the difference and send you the bright orange "1st run" rubbish instead of the properly coloured 1 they have on the pics on their site.

Yup... the bayonet frog I got recently is an example of that... I asked for one thing, got something different... unfortunately I can "stitch nazi" british bayonet frogs, so I sent them pics back with all the mistakes and told them what they'd sent me. They sent me a second one, which was right! lol

German officers belt was a big peice of crap I bought from there .

i had good customer service, i asked for panzer shoulder boards (pink), and got what looked like artillery (red)

i phoned up and said"there red"

"no mate there dark pink" he said

"well its darker than the collar tabs" i said

"my supplyers shit " he said

"ill return them for refund there no use to me" i said

"send them back, ill check my new stock" he said

3 days later the correct pink ones arrive

now i see these other complaints, maybe they were trying to fob me off, untill i ask for a refund then the correct gear was sent

cant say I've had any problems with SoF, 2 weeks ago I ordered :

German officers belt and buckle
Helmet cover
Y braces
mp40 pouches

as i was giving the bloke at SoF my address he mentioned he would be nearby in the next couple of days and offered to bring the items with him so i could collect and saved on the postage.

the helmet cover i ordered was out of stock so he changed it for a similar but more expensive one at no extra charge.

Me neither. As I mentioned on another thread, I've been very happy with the kit I've received so far, and the communication has been excellent. I even pre-empted them today by asking if I could return unwanted kit (I have a few orders pending delivery), and they said there would be no problem.
