Looking good so far (but beret should flap over your right ear
)

After getting me so BD trouser and Gaitors I just had to take some pics of the kit on the whole

So far I've spent about £386.87(Inculding the Sten) and I still need/want more

JD
£20 would fix this no end
£10 for some of warrens blanco and £10 for a pair or war pattern bren pouches, the tab and hoop type are post war.
You dont need anything more than that really.

Really good pics, and, judging by his facebook page, there are plenty more!

Sorry about the black boxes, looked like a tosser and I am very conscious about posting my face on the internets. Apparently my battledress button came undone just before the pic.
First pic here!
Why do you always carry that umbrella?
-Bad memory. Never could remember the password. Knew no Jerry would carry one. Had to prove I was an Englishman, you see.
A bridge too far
Looks good! ![]()

From our last shoot/game:

now those are great looking pictures, well done.

^^ Nicew shots
I love the Panzerschreck
Some stills form a short film I've been working on.

Not to split hairs (but I will
), but isn't that last one a distinctly modern way of handling a weapon?
And on the subject of 'hairs' you need to lose those sideburns if you want to make a film thats about anything that happend to a GI in the 40s...
Modern facial hair and haircuts make things look 'now' much more than small uniform innacuracies. It's not like they would take long to grow back and would make your film look that bit better.

You wouldn't enjoy shooting a real Thompson held like that, especially not on the run.

better by design
"Truth is a shining goddess, always veiled, always distant, never wholly approachable, but worthy of all the devotion of which the human spirit is capable. "
Hate to say it hombre but they are right, there's a wooden foregrip on a Thompson for a reason. They probably wouldn't belt it through the woods like that either, more likely from the hip if they were desperate. Some times a load of bad points can get a little annoying but hope that you feel it is at least constructive. Making a WW2 film has its issues when it comes to trying to make it look real, how ya handle yourself and your gun doesn't have to be one of them. Check out - No Ordinary Men 17 Min Film on YouTube for my attempt! Peace out!
Show me a man who will jump out of an airplane, and I'll show you a man who will fight!

Just to add that my point was definitely meant to be constructive.
Try to get your grooming correct, your weapon handling and your posture and the final product will look so much more authentic.
Thanks for the advice.
These were only a few test shots to check the camera and scope the location so will make sure I remove the Bradley Wiggins fashion accessories before the actual filming.
That still is actually a bit misleading. Granted I'm holding the mag instead of the fore grip (Thanks for pointing that out never really thought about how I hold the gun) but 2 seconds later I look like this:

so my head is down because I'm beginning to dive on the floor.
1 quick question I did have was : if you are wearing HBT's under your M41 or instead of the M41 would you replicate your insignia on the hbt's?
Also on the matter of incorrect weapons handling:
