You will definitely need...

Uniform of choice (stout boots recommended also).
Webbing of choice.
Weapon of choice (with suitable ammo, batteries/gas)
Tent/basha.
Small pack/rucksack.
Food and water, with the means to cook.
Something to sleep in.

You may find useful...

Cam cream/cork /face veil, for personal camouflage.
Notebook and pencil.
Small knife.
Alarm clock.
Something waterproof to wear (just in case and, modern stuff is ok if you wear it under your uniform of choice).
Torch (period style preferred).
Binoculars (modern are fine, not too powerful mind! I personally use a pair of x7 ones).
Compass.
