:D I've got a choice to make between the following:

Heer Pionier / Infanterie (wool)
Heer HBT
Waffen SS (currently badged as Landstorm Nederland)
Fallschirmjäger
Deutches Afrika Korps
British Infantry
British Airborne
British KD (only if the temperature reaches 70 degrees!)

What's everyone else wearing? :)

I'll be wearing British Airborne I think - practical, camouflaged, layered. It'll get some use from the newish boots and is my favourite ensemble anyway.

The Denison is certainly excellent camouflage, I agree. It would also give me an opportunity to use my Sten. :)

So much choice Andy! Just wear what is comfortable and you'll only need basic fighting order webbing too. Glad you're coming too mate.

I'll definitely be Brit and either Commando/infantry or Airborne. Not a big fan of the denison but weather may determine my choice.

I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.

I was thinking of wearing my Russian stuff as it hasn't been out since last February. All very practical and no nonsense, although if it looks like it will pour with rain I'll go with something wooly, like Brits.

Cheers

why waste an opportunity?

Well, yes, indeed.

Hmm, I can see I'll be bringing multiple outfits.... I need to prioritise stuff which needs wearing in, which probably means British airborne and some new Soviet bits.

Cheers

Please don't bring too much stuff so that you need to change outfits. This will be an opportunity to see what the minimum equipment you can get away with is, rather than how much you can fit on your body!

Oh of course, but is a case of choosing which one outfit.

I wasn't thinking of changing impressions mid-session :) Maybe just for the social.

there has been a distinct lack of blingyness at recent socials Martin, a bit of pomp sounds somewhat in order.

Oh I don't know a quick costume change always fools the enemy; I'm surprised it's not on the itinerary.

I am intrigued by the item: preparedness/personal admin. I think this should be first on the list - just a shame I won't be on time to find out what it's all about...

Doesn't that contravene the Geneva Convention?

I prefer to see it as a Ruse de Guerre...

Of course a quick costume change back before opening fire is required! This needs practising.

Having said all this I haven't been to all that many airsoft events but in two of them you have been directly involved in costume changes - Horn and Fuhrer!

:giggle: To be honest Fuhrer was more for comedy effect - which is an equally fine reason.
