yes mate got it thanks, :good:

which arm does it go on ??

and how high from the cuff

Hohenstaufen? Left arm, 15cm from the cuff at least, and above any pleats.

It's not the Hohenstaufen cufftitle.

Anthony, the cufftitle I sent you goes on the RIGHT arm

tiny should be on board soon as well, ill let him decide, but chances are he will join KGSS soon (i hope)

talking to him today his steel built `42 should be complete within the month :good:

Heres a quick pic. Its takin its time to build but ive got the body dimensions all right now and have fitted a full ak body inside. It isnt fitted properly, and the pistol grip and trigger guard aint on properly, but its just a quick taster pic.

The back end should be very easily removed(about 1 min) so havin a couple of bodies with different fps gearboxes in will make it a 2 min job to change. Couple of probs with it, are that the pistol grip and trigger are further towards the rear of the gun than they should be, slightly, but i dont care. Also, it wont be able to be picked up by the pistol grip due to the way its built(wont hold the weight of the gun), but hey, it can aint like the barrel will be glowin red like the real one.

I was considering a drum mag affair with batt and windy mag in it, and probably will eventually, but primarily I will be getting hold of an ammo box (if anyone knows where i can get a 7.9 ammo box let me know will ya), and putting a battery and a large electric mag with an m249 type tube thingy to the gun in it and doing a proper "deployment" whenever it needs to be fired. It'll be a pain, but I thik it'll add to the ambience of the game. Of course, I'm hoping ive got a buddy to carry the ammo cos its one heavy bitch of a gun :D

Ive bin doin all this "off the cuff" so if anyone thinks summet is poo, or needs revising, just fire away and let me know please.

Tiny.

lol, now I know who grassed me up about knowing where to get ammo boxes from, eh, Andy?

Anyhoo.........

You guys are going to get a little bit more support at the December bash - and i'm not talking fuck-off sized guns. All i'm taking is a pistol - and a full medics loadout (medics flask, armband, medics belt pouches etc etc) so I can concentrate on trying to keep you guys in the fight, instead of some poor player having to split his job between fighting and medic.

It might work well, it might be a complete failure - but its got to be worth trying...

Good man, Kermit - I've seen pics of Germans medics with red-crossed white sleeveless over-tunics. I've got a red-crossed breadbag (with strap) if you want to borrow it. :)

hehe, thanks for the offer of the medics bag Andy, but i'm well sorted on that front. Regarding the red cross tabbard, thats a little too obvious for my liking - somehow, I dont think the rules of war "dont shoot the medical staff" applies in Airsoft, so a red-cross armband is a little less obvious.

Sounds like a plan to me! :good: I certainly think having a dedicated medic will be a massive benefit, since I anticipate massive SS casualties on our way to victory (not as massive as the allies though!). If we can over run allied positions so that they can't use their own medics (and therefore get captured or bleed out), we'll have it sewn up.

I noticed at "The Pocket" the allies seemed to get tunnel vision when they where attacking, I was at the side shooting them with my MP40 & they seemmed to be looking only ahead & could not see me, what annoyed me was Chommers telling me to retreat when I had them in the bag, we need to play this to win

I noticed the same thing at Husky as well (there never seemed to be anyone around to assist me though, as I was very successfully doing the lone sniper thing).

If we do find ourselves having to/being ordered to withdraw, we will use the fighting withdrawal method if possible (and allowed to), where the front riflemen break contact and fall back, so that the allies advance to follow up and are funnelled into the killing areas of the concealed MG42's (just like the Germans did for real).

So I'll consider myself drafted to the armoured section then shall I? I guess this means i'll be sat atop a very noisy, attractive target, with nothing to protect me but 'the force'?

Well, I guess i've been in worse situations - I was married once. Give me the whole allied force against one woman anyday

Oh, and cheers for the pm kermit :good:

Go for it, you crazy brothers! :good: We'll have to ensure the armour has infantry support.

were both coming in 9th SS gear , well save our panzer gear for a game when no SS were there (ie husky type scenario)

so the sig33 will be marked up as 9th SS

any one have a picture of the 9th SS divisional markings?????
