That looks great Tony. I'm sure whatever you cobble together will scare them witless and draw a lot of fire!

Would be nice to see as many Hohenstuafen as possible at this one! :good:

Brilliant, can't wait to see it. Have you guys seen how many Waffen SS are going in December? The German team should look fantastic!

not sure what kit to wear, i want to wear my new SS gear (and thicken 9th SS ranks), but im also inclined to badge up my panzer gear as SS

would a assault gun crew look odd in grey ?? or would the black be better???

the panzers gonna get sprayed grey, and ill mark it up as SS :D

also what camo (if any) are people useing , ive only got oakleaf

what to wear? its worse than a bird getting ready for a night out :slap:

ANY SS camo is ok Tony. I wear a Burred edge smock and Oakleaf helmet cover myself but there'll be guys in Planetree and Dot44 as well, so wear what you want (don't forget the Germans didn't distinguish between patterns, it was all just 'camouflage' to them) . Also, assault gun crews wore (or were supposed to wear) a grey version of the panzer wrap. I'm fairly certain they'd have worn what they had! I know what you mean about deliberating what to wear, my missus rips the piss out of me when I'm getting ready for a game.

I'm pretty sure all eyes will be on your Panzer anyway!

spiers is comming according to the post he made in the december game thread

i take it hes a PRIORITY TARGET ??????????

i heard several schoolboy sniggers at husky as several people proudly reported hitting him :D

Quote one proud member of KGSS, "I hit him (spiers) right in the neck with my tanaka, you should have heard him yelp  "

i cant remember who it was

not that im condoneing bullying in any way ,

its just that some people are more "attractive" as "targets" than others

One of my best shots of the event! I also shot him in the shoulder and the groin! Lardassmonkey also shot him up the arse (you can hear it on the video I posted up). All in all, a very satisfying target, because he threw a MAJOR eppy when I neckshot him from 30 metres.

I'd say that he's a target of oppurtunity, not a priority, because he's a waste of ammo frankly. We need to be hosing command elements and any support weapons (like Barrie with his Bren).

I've had a good old chat with Gadge tonight, mainly about organising our own games with PBI next year, with a similar format to the "Varsity" game, ie, a small numbers, one day game, with more emphasis on realism and a constantly changing battlefield. I won't give too much away but expect the first one to be a Waffen SS vs US airborne scenario! Next year should see us have a bit more oppurtunity to get together and play, with the 4 or so CiA games, plus 2 "private" games at least. I'm looking forward to it already.

Going back to the december game at bolton

look at the bridge phtotograph in this thread

viewtopic.php?f=91&t=5479

the sig33 panzer , will just fit, so the allies will be in for a shock. 8) cant wait to see there faces when a tank crosses over :good: (should provide good cover for our guys crossing the bridge too)

Hohenstaufen? Left arm, 15cm from the cuff at least, and above any pleats.
