I have the joy of speaking to him daily! 24/7 sometimes. :D normally I would abuse anyone who said such an answer, but he's one of a few people who might actually arrive via an air drop, either by plane or by one of his ex-wifes booting him there!

Guys. We need to get moving on this one.
Six weeks and counting down.
If youre sitting on the fence umming and ahhing then consider this. What other game this year will give you the oppurtunity of playing for less than a pound an hour:)
We need to get these names squared away Gents.

I'll pay my deposit in the next few days...

Quick question - with the event starting at midnight, what are you doing about lighting ? I guess I'll have to shell out on some period type of flashlight - I assume surefires are an in-game no-no. Also, have you given any thought to marking paths etc. with cyalumes, so we don't spend 4 hours trying to get back to the safe zone...

Strangely Benj and I were chatting about this today. I will be marking certain points with Cyalumes and the Safe zone will be marked clearly. As to the torches I'd say that a period right angle would do fine

The CP itself will be lit up like a xmas tree for that very reason.
Although it wont be instantly visible from all points itll be a guiding light once youve clapped eyes on it in the distance.

The paths as youve already guessed will be marked out with colour coded cyalumes.

As far as flashlights go. Were not going to be stupidly anal about this. Safety first. As long as everyone is aware of light discipline then were not going to make a big song and dance about it.

Ill be putting a kit list up here over the weekend thatll clear up a lot of other potential points .

Don't want to tell my Granny how to suck eggs but the CIA lads always insisted on players carrying a whistle in case of emergency. Just a thought.

No such thing as too many good suggestions mate.

Due to the midnight start, all players would be encouraged to carry a 'grab bag' containing personal safety kit inc. Water. Foil blanket. Whistle. Flashlight. Fire making kit. Blow out kit etc.etc.
Will put up a comprehensive list tonight.
Please dont feel anybody will be standing on our toes by throwing ideas this way.
The only stupud suggestion is the one that ultimately wasnt made because everybody thought someone else would make it.

For those of you that are concerned about the sleeping (or opportunity to sleep) we have secured an additional 12x12 tent to use as a sleeping area. This will be in a safe zone and an admin will be on stag in the area for the whole 36 hours. Your vehicles will also be near by.

Dan, been over Fletch's workshop tonight to see how the props are coming along.
Bridge is complete.
Bunker is almost finished.
Both 12×12s are there.
MG positions have been started and the 88 is well past the planning stage :)
Question.
What stage are we at with the prop pyro?

Oh can't wait to see those mate! Well excited!

I have made a few Gammon Grenades, got a few blocks of TNT sorted and now for the axis kit for the bridge demo etc... Got a feeling I've made far to much.
