This does sound jolly fun, what do I do... Pretty much British, and if I get the chance, Polish. 
I have a 'getting by' Para get up - Denison, 37 Denim trousers, Boots, Beret, Scarf thing and belt - and have the first instalment of my Polish tanker's gear on the way (which I am really glad I have an excuse to get).
I am just gun-less, though I am told I have just agreed to purchase someone's 'like a webley' revolver, hurrah. So best fighting trousers on and ba-sucks to you fritzy..

We have a dedicated British airborne group if you're interested in checking us out.
We're called PBI (poor bloody infantry)
We've a game on at the end of the month too!
We do however all badge up as South Staffords so you might need a cap badge swap but if you're happy with that we'd love to have you.
(You can do glider pilot or a corp with us but its got to be by request or we end up wiht six riflemen and a platoon of glider pilots and medics! )
