Roger that, the kit guides are aimed for the 'full look', but not everyone wants to go that far.

I have a commando look which is less cumbersome as the one on the kit guide, please see attached below.
Basically all you need, is a set of '37 or '40 pattern battledress, a set of blanco'd '37 pattern webbing, a green large floppy beret, anklets and black ammo boots.
Thats the basic impression....
In addition, I have the Combined arms patches, and the shoulder titles "Commando" both red on Navy.
Army Commando Beret dagger pip (mounted on half an inch wide black felt)
Fairbairn Sykes Dagger mounted onto the BD pants via spare belt loops.

Using the iconic British cap comforter is also great for commando, and a lot of folk in airsoft use it as apose to the beret
