Hi Guys,

Just checking in...

Fancied a bit og a change and really know that WW2 airsoft has always had such a huge appeal for me...

Always been interested within WW2 history.

Airsofter and modern era geardo for lots of years, some of you may recognise the name. I currently specalise in modern UKSF kit, so WW2 is something new for me.

I am wishing to build a simple but realistic as possible 2nd ranger rifleman loadout (M1 Garand) with the correct kit for the Normandy invasion, so any help will be great!

Best wishes and great forum from what I have read so far...

Welcome aboard. :good:

You may find this guide useful if you want to get some Ranger kit http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/zoom/us-ranger.html

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

Hello and welcome to the forum - there's loads of information here to get you started in WW2 Airsoft.

If there is something you cannot find in the kit guides or something specific that the search function doesn't find - make a new thread in the appropriate section. Folks here are really friendly and there is a world or knowledge here, so someone will reply in no time at all.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome..

I certainly will be following that guide very close, let the gear purchasing begin (after my holiday which I leave for tomorrow of course).

Now I just have to figure out how I even start considering how to clear some space for it all...

I also have to ask... mostly because I have concentrated on it for so long...

WW2 era SAS kit, are there any guides to this? - this could be a longer term project of course

Oxford, pop down to the British & Commonwealth Section, also the PBI Section - PBI ran a game based in the Balkans and uniforms/kit etc would be right up your wishes regarding the SAS.

Angel! thought I may find you lurking around here, hehe... Keep me posted on events via facebook if you can, be great to hook up with you as I really am a novice in this, despite watching every ww2 film there is and visiting normandy on my 21st birthday!

Will take a look at the SAS stuff for sure, however pretty much decided 2nd ranger look for now, although I am now leaning towards a cpt outfit (pistol, thompson etc), somewhat stereotypical I know..
