hello there, i am matt from the arnhem game my first time airsofting and re-enacting. had so much fun it cant be legal,really looking forward to churchills revenge, gadge and i are trying to do brandenburger commnado 1943 or close approxiamtion can any one help furnish me with a list of kit and ideas on where to get it cheaply. thanks guy

Hello mate, glad you enjoyed Arnhem. Cheaply? Well, as with so many other things, to some extent you get what you pay for. If you want to go bargain basement, then a grey Swedish army uniform would be your base. If you want to get a repro German uniform, then I would suggest Barry Lyndon (Spearhead Militaria store on ebay). Good quality tunic and jacket for

Hello pal. Welcome aboard, and as steiner says, cheap is not realy a problem, you just have to hunt for the stuff that "Looks right".

think I put a link in german uniform section, but I used HK keith though I went for M44 tunic an trews cost me

Hadn't thought of that :lol: but no this is a late war male impersonation :oops: have a couple of other things in pipeline tho.....who introduced me to this ridiculously addictive (read as costly :lol: ) past time :roll: :lol:

Thanks, I didnt know that, well tbh I never looked into it. Are they by any chance similar to the Panzer wrap cut?

think its easier to explain with a piccie :oops: you should instantly see (albeit it these ones are luftwaffe) the buttons are on the sides. Though I've not found any reason why they made that way (tho being female I can kind of guess), and indeed many women wore the mens kit adapted. The pattern styling for helferin trews in gerneral was as below (with colour variations)
