Just thought I would pop in and say Hi.
I have been involved with the re-enactment scene for a good few years and kind of give it up with the birth of my son just over 5 years ago.
I have been looking into getting back into it as I have still got all my kit(although I cannot get into my trousers or shirt anymore
)
From 1989 to 2000 I was with the LHA and my calling was the 1st Infantry Div.
I am looking to get involved probably next year, but was very surprised to find a group who do WW2 themed airsoft event. The private battle we used to do was with blank firers and you did have the occational situation where you empty a belt of .30cal into a guy behind a tree and he convinced you missed. At least with BB you know you got them.
So really I am looking to do the US infantry(Might be swayed to get a backup German one).
Cheers
Rob
And if you are wondering what the Kargos Bloodspitter thing is all about it is my CoD2 playername. I could not think of anything else and it is indeed unique.

I have been interested in the Big Red One since seeing that dubious, similar titled movie with Mark Hamill in it.
Still thanks for the warm welcome. ![]()
