Your indiscretion is forgiven but portrayal by airsofters of a German soldier can't be described in that way. All of us take quite deliberate steps to distance ourselves from the political element of WW2, and is 100% nothing to do with what we are about, nor reenactors come to that. There are plenty of other alternative names that you can use in a slang/mocking/derogatory way but Nazi isn't one of them (Jerry is as good as any ).
What were "stairborne troops" then , did they all go into action with ladders? are they anyway related to the French First Escalator Division?
