I'm a re-enactor with 2nd Guards. Interested in finding out more about WW2 airsoft and giving it go.
Interest was prompted by taking my son down to Ground Zero on Sunday.

I'll have a trawl around the forum see what I can find, I'll be looking for:
a. When and where is the next Eastern front event?
b. Where can I get an SVT or Papasha?
So any help appreciated.

And if anyone needs to know how to tie a meshok or fold a plasch etc, I'll be happy to help. :)

Hi sorokin, welcome to the forum.

Russians - at the moment - aren't particularly well catered for on the guns front. There is an Airsoft Tokarev, but they are a bit of a pain to find. There is also a Mosin Nagant in production, that is unfortunately hideously expensive :(

However, all is not lost. Some individuals on here are working on custom Mosin's, and one of the guys has already built a custom PPSh, so where there's a will, there's a way - and it's one of the fun things about WW2 Airsoft. If it doesn't exist, then people will make it - in fact, i've seen pics on a US site of a custom made DP28!

Regarding another CiA Eastern Front event, i'd say its almost a certainty!

Cheers

J.

Seing as soviet kit is the cheapest and the success of Bryansk i dont see why there wont be more soviet games, all we need is a soviet airsoft gun.

Welcome to the mad house

On the gun front there is a few guys in the US selling custom Russian guns, here's a link for a company doing a Mosin-Nagent and a PPsh41 http://www.airsoftbattlezone.com/sgscustomairsoft.html

Also I think one of the forum members, CharleyNovember, sells custom Mosin-Nagents, this is one of his viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3114&p=54890&hilit=mosin#p54890

Thanks people.
That Mosin-Nagant looks very good.
I'm in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.
I've found a company in Sussex that are developing airsoft PPSh, SVT and Mosin-Nagant.
Trapper Industries - they sell soviet kit mostly post-war. I've mailed them for more details.

I've met the Trapper guys a few times over the years. Seem to remember they were working on an Airsoft Dushka at one stage - - god knows what became of that lol

Welcome to the forum, good to have another Red army representative around as we're a bit thin on the ground right now. I'm sure a more available Russian gun or two might solve that pretty quickly though so fingers crossed.

Trapper have told me their PPSh41 will launch at Beltring but they're ignoring my questions about the price!
Ill be there on the Friday to have a look.
