So, we have 7 people booked on guys.
If this doesn't improve by Friday Im going to pull the event and be stepping out of WW2 airsoft main events. Its been a great decade of War but we used to run epic 100+ player battles all over the country, but with the trend now being one day and a large number not willing to travel more than an hour from home its no longer viable. We can't afford the sites.
Lets see what happens.

I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.
I will be booking on to this too - money in the next day or so.
Will be booking in to this too, as soon as i have the funds.

Kept meaning to get my arse in gear with this, pennies on the way.
I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.
Don't get me wrong but I don't mind travelling to some games, as long as they are reasonably located, allow camping etc if a bit out of the way then I'm fine with that. Your site is about 40 mins away so there would be no issue in getting there for me but the thing that has put me off personally from committing to this game is the lack of updates really.
A number of people have already paid deposits however there has been no replies saying that they have been added to the booking list like in other event booking threads. The post on the gunman forum hasn't been updated since its creation back in May and I personally don't feel like creating another account on another forum, to sign up for one game, just to never use it again/forget it when we have everything we need right here.
I think that if the booking list showed people signed up and was updated often, then I'm sure that there would be a lot more interest for the game. I don't mean for any of this to come across in a rude way, these are just my concerns which will hopefully be taken on board for next time.
Unfortunately I won't be attending due to other arrangements that particular weekend, but I hope you get the interest needed to run the game.

I agree with all of Chris's points above, neither the post on here or on the Gunman forum has been updated since they were originally posted - from this I can't tell if people are know are planning to attend or not.
I'll be paying for this game by tomorrow evening as I want to attend and want to support all the game organisers.
Yes, that was exactly my point on booking thread.
Happy to go particularly as it's only 10 minutes away so I can leave 5 minutes before the start...
But it's nice to know an event is cared for!

Sorry guys, I've been so swamped over with events, your all totally right. In the past the updated have been a lot more frequent. I only had 4 bookings a few weeks ago and realised I needed to pull my finger out. I have also stupidly assumed guys new all about Gunman and that I didn't need to go crazy... I was very wrong.
Cheers for your advice and ill make sure I keep far more attention on it.

It is certainly useful to get the planned game dates up a good time in advance (well, I find it useful ).
But yes, the events do need a bit of nurturing to get peoples attention.
