Yeah the Jeep charge was funny, 2 of us were sneaking up through the undergrowt to flank,... the next thing a willies blazes past with 5 chaps on the back shooting as they went....

Trying to contain my fits of giggles,... moments later all 5 of them walked back the other way with their hands in the air!

Thoroughly enjoyable weekend. My liver is going to be aching for a week

Highlight for me was digging in as the "suicide squad" in one of the camps, then slotting Barrie, Anne, and t'other lass, before being outflanked by a couple of the young guys in Airborne gear.

Oh, quick hint. If you think that using Kavster as a hostage is going to stop people shooting, then think again

I did explain to Sinead afterwards that using prisoners as a human shield was strictly against the Geneva Convention, but since it was Kavster it was OK.

Best moment for me was leading a patrol of three men behind the german lines, sat down to read my map to find out what some wooden buildings were when a german walks around the corner so i have to rush for my thompson then we withdrew rather than wait for more respawning germans to arive, going down a path coming up behind a german sniper (the guy in the oakleaf smock) snuck up about 4 meters away and rather than tempt fate decided to shoot him, carried on when BB's come wizzing out of the bushes hitting me, a heroic run by our medic (the girl with B&A) heling me so i proptly shot the german who got me, after that carrying on ducking and dodging german patrols until we found webby alone in a bush trying to capture the roadblock which we then helped him dismantle under MG and sniper fire.

And lol at my face in the Jeep picture i look a bit scared there

Had a great weekend , as a virgin WW2 airsofter I've got to say I am now completely sold. Great company and superb gaming.
Several outstanding firefights ,the assault on the american cp and the jeep attack were brilliant though somehow I ended up the lone german in the bushes having got into a minor firefight only to find the rest of the german side had withdrawn leaving me to the counter attack.
Most surreal moment had to be staking out a track just outside the village ,when a little Muntjac deer came wandering down the path and stopped about 6 feet away.

I think that was Rhysd2 in an ingenious and cunning disguise - damn Resistance, no wonder I never saw them!

Cracking event, only just home!!!

Big thanks to Neill and Andy for a great job (even if Andy looked a bit deflated on Saturday), I had an awesome time. Felt bad about not playing on Sunday, but I was spent after some serious bodily abuse over the weekend.

Special thanks to Chris for a loan of a mag, even if I didn't shoot enough to use it!

Best moment - Sunday's village assault, picking off about 5 yanks including Anne, who I frankly only got only by accident as she was deep deep deep undercover.
Less than best moment - First game of the day, leading a squad of FJ with absolutely no frikkin' idea of where anything was and no contact for about an hour. We were the real Lost Patrol.

hehe really did enjoy my resistance role. cant say enough how much fun I had. the most surreal part being me walking out white flag in hand whilst the germans tried to get the spiv back from the sas CP and berrating them for attacking my brewery the first time and my pig farm the second time

for me it was very interesting to be on the organising side - a big hats off to Steiner for doing most of the legwork... It was an excellent weekend, I was a little worried in the morning as the germans were grumpily complaining about not enough action, but the brits and the yanks both agreed that they quite enjoyed all the patrolling. go figure!? Lowpoint was missing the sas by about 5 minutes at endex on 1st mrning. ohe yes and waiting for the americans to attack us at the emplacemnt while they were waiting for us to attack them at the emplace ment sign! :D Jeremy had a thoroughly good time and to me his most telling comment was how sporting everyone was and how we all take our hits the first time! he has become an ammo limits fan! he also commented words to the effect of: "its like another level of airsofting" so well done guys He was very excited about the day and i hope aquitted himself well he certainly enjoyed playing with and meeting all of you.. took me out 3 times the little blighter! high: H's stew!

My personal high point was the little impromptu ambush we set n the last game on sunday..... i couldnt believe it was going to work the amis walked right into it. Organising certainly made me appreciate what the CIA boys get up to! i got home tired but happy. Low point was spending sunday afternoon in A&E at chichester - jeremy got bitten by spider or some other nasty on sunday morning and his wrist swelled up like a tennis ball. Insect repllant from now on. There were also a load of guys from Worthing (elite action games ) so expect more ww2 down south soon....

So many high points... Firstly another big thanks to Neil and Andy for organising, especially to Andy for loaning me clothing and equipment. Also thank yous to Rich and Chris for loaning me magazines/weaponry.

Gamewise I loved all the patrolling and the fear of walking round a corner and finding myself face to face with the SAS although my highlights were the second session on Saturday and the Sunday session where I got some great kills by stalking around with Hopeless. Hearing someone shout "snipers!!!" as the BB's wizzed past them before being fired on as we bugged out was great fun. Barrie scared the hell out of me on Sunday when I was firing on his squad and they all decided to run at me, luckily he was looking the wrong way as he ran out of the bush feet away allowing us time to leg it.

Away from the "action" I can't remember the last time I had so much fun in a wet field. Brilliant.

I was also one of the WW2 Newbies - but believe me I`m hooked. THE ABSOLUTE BEST airsoft game I`ve played.

Great site, great players and above all great organisation.

Cheers to all who made it possible.

Was a real pleasure putting faces to call signs, and I look forward to the next time - probably 'In the Pocket' for me.

A HUGE thanks to the gent with the Jeep - a real asset in every way. Thanks for the ride.

Now frantically working to get the pictures and video up.........
