just came back from an event were they had a big zelt tent about 20 or so zelts . and me and del started thinking we at cia could do better so who's up for the challenge of building the biggest zelt tent we can at husky .if you can post if your game and let me know how many zelts you can put in so i can get a rough idea of how many poles we will need. :D

Heh, I have four (now). I'm not bothering with 'proper' sectioned poles (as I won't ever be carrying them on my person) so will be using broom handles. Three of them will give a four square tent with optional awning. I've just had a trial erection in the garden (fnarr) and I reckon the four proper pole sections should rise to 120cm plus spigot - could anyone confirm?

As I will be British at Husky you are welcome to add them to your zelt palace Che. Don't ask me to help with the buttoning/unbuttoning though

I'll take 5 - 4 Oak and a Splinter - might be worth following Dave's idea of custom poles, if we're going to build the uber monster

I may have more zelts by then

Well I have just the one, but I also have a plash-palatka. If some one has another plash we can make a beer storage tent.

A large and spacious tent could be erected for special purposes using 16 tent sections http://www.zeltbahn.net/tent.htm

My planetree zelt' is at your disposal (unless it rains!). Why not use short logs/long sticks instead of faffing about with poles?
