Quote when a few of us were up on the ramparts post-game:

Porta: "Spitfire!"

Blom: "Where?!"

Cue laughing.

OK, I'd just like to say what a fantastic time I had.

From the moment I walked around the site on Saturday afternoon with my jaw dragging behind me I knew it was going to be special.

I think Kermit pitched this game perfectly and it's the first CiA game where I've personally felt that we got it spot on. From the realism of the scenario to the inventiveness of some of the props and characters, it just made it exactly the sort of filmsim event we have been trying to go for.

Thanks to everyone for putting so much effort into the day, and evening before too, the last-minute projector plan seemed to work a treat, thanks to Andy and all the UCAP organisers for making us so welcome and for fully entering into the spirit of the event.

Most of all thanks to everyone who played and made this the best games I've been part of.

It's fun being German.....

OMFG, you're spit-roast tag-teaming a German......

BTW: My stereo was used in the big map room for the sound effects on maximum volume and didn't turn it down before I packed it away. I got home and put the radio on and nearly hit the roof...

Finally a chance to post,

what a great day, the best airsoft event ive been to , no exceptions 8)

also , ive never been hurt so much in airsoft b4, all guns were chronoed, so NONE were hot, but the ranges were so close i got really bladdered with bbs, my legs and arse are cut to shreds, (even through the wool trousers) . well done to everyone for keeping the rounds low, i only took a few face hits, and all were at 10m +

GREAT SPORTSMANSHIP ALL ROUND. :D

a fair bit of overkill,(but looking back, i dont think it was deliberate) i think i kept getting hosed becasue, its soo hard to get a cyalume stick out whilst being hit by bbs :D , and as its so dark at ucap, untill you see the lightstick you dont stop shooting, So sorry for swearing at people, i had to shout and swear LOUD, due to all the noise, and then when the bb rain paused i could ACTUALLY get out my lightstick :D

a few bad moments for me,

1. walking round a corner talking, right into 10 allied players all 8 feet away. and have a 1/10th of a second to think "oh shit" before getting blasted.

then as yith caputres me , i just said "F*** off" , im going out now" , and off i limp, back to the safe zone

2. storming in to a dead end room gun blazing, thinking ill get this allied swine, only to enter the door and find 8 allies all covering the door.

again, super BB blastage, and a very sore porta

3. being hit and wounded in a tunnel bent forward on my knees, the allies start to caputre me, i shout to my comrades for help, and recive it, in the form of 4 mp40s fireing up my arse, and a shout of , "there you go your dead now, they cant capture you" , thanks guys

...........................................................

some really funny moments , which i type up when i have time.

But a HUGE thank you to All the CIA players, the CIA orginizers (they were still cleaning up long after we all left)

ALL the UCAP staff, for the site use and the in game help/personas

and most of all a big thanks to kermit for a great plan, and execution of an event.

PHOTOS / VIDEOS up this week, i proimse

The funniest bit of that was that we got right behind the lines and some of your guys even recognised us and said 'hi' on the way.
Snyper did a double take so we had to shoot him...

But we knew once he got back everyone woudl know we'd infiltrated the lines so we just shot anyone who passed us after that.
