ive got some "classic" propaganda partisan portraits, ill post em up over the weekend

im thinking of a soviet partisan loadout

im at work now, but ill scan the book tonight, it has the typical posed heroic type portraits of soviet partisans

one has a grandfather, daughter, and grandaughter all holding moisin rifles, and another shows a colum of partisans on the march, over a hundred, with all maner of weapons, includeing g43, mg34, and mp40s, though there is a marked LACK of spare ammo pouches, and magazines, i think most people only had the rounds that were in the gun itself

also maybe if partisans are used in CIA games, give them a 100/200 round ammo limit to simulate this and offset the advantage of being free to roam.

then they could engage at will (without the need for armbands) because they would LITERALLY have to hit and run, also troops would be more wary of civillians, at the arhnem game, if the didnt have an armband on a lot of people ignored the dutch alltogether, ...
if you knew they could pull a gun "AT ANY TIME" troops would be more likely to stop and serarch , and watch them more closely

The great thing is that as the soviets didnt use the masses of insignia that the uk, us and germans did...

If we all choose the same base uniform (m43 is the only one that actually looks good by the way, the ealry war stuff looks positivley ww1) in OD then we'll all look like the same unit.

Theonly really distinguishing features are the shoulder boards for rank and arm of service.

Then if you want to do specialist troops its just the over suit or the equipment you carry.

OK so are we ok with weapons already held ie. I have access to the MP40/K98 or should I think of saving for something else, I have absolutely no chance of butchering something to suit unless someone is willing to do a step by step guide having never jiggered with the gibblets of airsoft toolage

just tried to scan the photos, and blew up my scanner (well i FIZZZED it anyway)

i plugged my little boys 21VOLT stering wheel ADAPTOR in to a 12v scanner, big fizz noise and a smoky aroma

ive about 10 god damm adapotors under the desk, ive run the scanner of 4v 6v and 12 v b4, but 21v was just too much

ill have to scan them at work now

grip on what you erm dunno what see I could have been led completely astray last night and massacred a confangled thingamabob in a stupor of schnapps but noone was brave enough to take the gauntlet and through me a daft suggestion ... I was seriously bored last night and had all my blue peter bestest things at the ready, yoghurt pots, loo rolls, bit of sticky back plastic and a vsr clone and noone helped and the chance will be gone as che will be home soon and see what was plotted and the weapon will be moved to a more secure location away from me and a screwdriver

I've been looking at the PPSH, I'm sure I saw one online somewhere for a reasonable price however in a day of sobriety can I find it now? NO I've looked at a few sites as well where people have made things from other things, so I may need to have talks with my dearest daddykins

ever consider converting a deac to gas or scratch building one from plasticard? Both have been done, the former being a little easier than the latter. There is substantial interest in Russia for these things so some Russians have been able to convert RS guns into airsoft.

It's against the law in the UK to convert a deac, otherwise, we'd ALL have a ppsh by now.

I've heard of it being done by russian airsofters, i dont think its illegal there

I wouldn't suggest trying ot convert one of these, however if you wanted a blank firer for about hte price of an early deac .

I've seen a converted Hudson PPSH. It was done by (the now sadly gone) Nordland company in Japan, and used a very buggered-about-with V3 'box if i remember correctly.
