Bloody brilliant a superb day ,great company ,great play , and a big thank you to the organisers who did a faultless job making sure we had a good time, even the weather was perfect. And thanks to all the players for some blinding shootouts.
Pretty much what Stof said
Plus the fact that Kroot did manage to pull together a team for the allies which I think he should feel rightly chuffed about.
To the tune of "Mademoiselle from Armentières"
Napoleons army ran away, As you do
The guard stood firm for Frances Pride, As you do
They said the guard will stand and die
But we heard what their Colonel cried
It wasn't pretty I tell you.
Resistance is fertile
An excellent day, big thanks to the organisers and Jimbo. Excellent gameplay and good sportsmanship as ever.
As Sandy said, brilliant.
For my first event it could not have been better (well slightly cooler maybe).
Jimbo, Gordon and the guys put on a great day. Hard to pick a high point of the day as all good, but the Bangalore torpedo was great fun, once we worked out which end was which..!
I've seen it commented on this forum after other games but Marsha is lethal with that sniper rifle of hers. Lets not mention the German chaps with the MG34 and MG42.. I say it again, lets not mention them, B@#tards... I'm only jealous really..
Also a big thank you to all the usual suspects who made me feel so welcome..

As already said, a great event. Not as hot as I was expecting but certainly hot enough. Some really good firefights along with some good sneaky beaky action. My legs are like pin cushions but who cares, I enjoyed myself! Thanks again to the organisers and EAG Worthing.

Great game utterly loved it all, even getting destroyed by MG fire. Thanks to everyone who came and especially the organisers. Can't wait to see the pics
Excellent day, throughly enjoyed it. Thanks to Hanschen and the rest of the guys. Some excellent scraps with the levels of gameplay and gamesmanship that makes WW2 so much better to play. Roll on the next one.
Utterly fantastic day, Shoes and I both enjoyed ourselved immensely. Can I say thank you very much to all the organisers, and of course to the chap who lent me his denison/belgian. Hopefully see everyone again in July
What can I say other than copy everyone else!, great day, good sportsmanship, good site, nice burger!
Marsha caught me with a couple of cracking shots and the the two MG's on the axis side were simply formidable. What was particularly impressive was the siting of the mg's at each phase and the fact that they allowed us to be drawn into their 'kill zone' before revealing their location.
On a more novel note was Stof's grenade charge at the bunker early on in the day. Tactically sound (?) the site of him trying to ignite the grenade as he neared the bunker was brilliant!
Well done to all!

did I have to survive unscathed to recieve a medal for the event,or do we all get one , how does this system work?
You have to be mentioned in dispatches...
not really, just attending is enough. These days half of them have the ribbon before the game
Much as everyone else has said. Brilliant day with excellent players and well run, faultless
Had fun taking a hit from the panzershreck, didn't hit me, but anything that cools gotta at least take one man down
Big thanks to all the guys from the French 2nd armour for putting up with me
Bayoneting women and children, not my finest hour .
Cheers to all.
I had a great first day, just so much fun, weather was fine and not too challenging, I would like to thank all of the chaps I met, fought with and against today many thanks for a fun packed day .
P.S. did I have to survive unscathed to recieve a medal for the event,or do we all get one , how does this system work?
You get one brave kameraden of course.
You just need to copy the code: into your signature block and save
Thanks guys and gals for all coming. I think it has all been said Sportsmanship second to none great kit great play and the weather Gods were kind.
Big thanks to Jimbo for the site and the Burger, they are still the best burgers ever so my lads say so it must be so.
Big thanks to Graham agent orange I could not have pulled this off without him. Thanks to the Section commanders on both sides all were supberb one of the best events where you all kept together as a section.
Best bits: Marsha falling to the floor trying to cock her rifle whils a charging para with pistol approaching, and she got him
Pieper with the Panzerfaust awesome Trouble is I want one now
Some great charges by the allies with grenades in hand dying bravely.
But the all time favorite (ON video which I will post when I can) The French section advancing on the mined area setting off a Bouncing Betty then deciding that they needed to prod their way forward to the barricade. Shouts of encouragement "Use a bayonet" shouts in Gaelic "I have only got a stick??"
Nice to meet New members of the forum and looking forward to see many of you at the July game

Both our faces must have been a sight
Lets not mention the German chaps with the MG34 and MG42.. I say it again, lets not mention them, B@#tards...
Fantastic day, cheers Gordon and Jimbo I loved all the fantastic props such dedication to the hobby really adds an extra level to the game.
As already said some great sporting gameplay from everyone. Ive never seen French uniforms in airsoft before and I have to say they looked really good.
Jimbo's burger was much needed and on such a hot day it was good to have a break for lunch.
Great to see new faces attending and enjoying the game so much, Deano had a great time and is seriously thinking about trying to get some kit together.
Always impressed at these events how freindly and helpfull everyone is, and thanks Sandy for helping me start off my Brit Kit
I dont know how I managed to stager back to my tent on saturday night, or how everyone else was up so early and packed away
Hope to see you all at another one soon.
what else is there to say,im tired ,sore and happy.fair playing all round, good organisation ,excellent props ,good food and perfect company.was a pleasure to lead the add hock allied company "the oddballs" all brave and true, thank you.the sniping and mg teams seemed as relentless as was the heat.i never heard one complaint all day despite the unbalance of the sides witch underlines the organisation of the game play.well done all involved.

Thanks for a great day gordon. I would definatley be up for another one.
Sorry about the delay in posting but took me a while to find the site, as with the previous games I have partaken in with you all this was very enjoyable good sportsmanship was shown by both sides my only down side was burning my finger on a multi bang ;p my own fault.
I hope to attend more events in the future. Thanks Kroot for inviting me along again as I said I enjoyed myself as did my friend.
