Was very impressed with the drinking clubs turn out - Forester looked fantastic as the Waffen SS Feldgendarmerie with Ringkragen. I would not like to bump into him on a quiet road after dark :D

Was amazing to see the effort that everyone went to, seeing all those Grey/blue Fleigerbluse's - an absolute treat.

The Americans looked great when we 'Poles' walked through the camp - gotta admit they all looked very itchy-trigger fingered(yes one went to far and shot Steiner) but it was dealt with  .

to sum up a great weekend, bit windy - hated seeing my BB's flying off into the unknown lol

Everyone there a great bunch of players and many thanks to CiA organisers, Josh and crew for the site and hot food.

Looking forward to the next one :D

Had a great day. I had great fun dashing around in the Jeep. Losing Churchill the first time will go down in my best airsofting moments...

We had decided to go round the rear of the German lines to have a look at what was going on... Gadge went forward to recce the German positions from the top of a hill when Neil appeared behind him. A short gunfight ensued. Gadge going down to Neil's MP44.

Me and Churchill sat in the Jeep looked on concerned then as Neil waved about 8 Falshys from behind the hill and they started to run at us.

The jeep went off the road as we reversed and we tried to defend. Realising that they were getting a bit close I jumped back and in and started to reverse some more. Unfortunately Churchill couldn't get in, and then a well placed grenade took the Jeep out.

Frantically look around the Jeep I realised the only gun I had left was my side arm. Together we ran for it down the road. Churchill with Tommy gun and myself with my pistol... shooting at Falshys we got quite a few, but there were just too many of them...

Thanks to all for a wonderful event...

I had a great time. It was good to get to know a few more of you guys and have a few beers saturday night. Great to see so many FJ together at last.

I loved paradeing around in the Polish gear making the yanks nervous. I couldn't help but wander about with a stupid grin on my face watching them get worried every time one of us walked where we weren't meant to. I ended up being marched out of the camp by a very scary looking Anne after I tried to sneak off a couple of times. I just wish we could have done a bit more of it before things kicked off.

My personal high point in terms of the battle has to be the hit I got on the yank behind some tires from the top of the hill. I didn't know I'd hit him (not sure who it was) until he turned around and gave me a thumbs up. :D I'm quite proud of that considering the wind; which was my biggest gripe about the day. It says alot about the quality of the game if the biggest problem was a bit of wind, although I did help myself by using a bolt action all day :slap: .

Thanks to all those involved; the CiA team for organising a great game, Josh & the Gunman crew for the site and food (excellent chinese  ) and Churchill and his body guards for giving us the run around.

What the hell??!?!? I spotted that too. I didn't realise The Joker was playing for the Falshies.

However, I've uncovered a photo that I think explains it all:

dealt with nonsense he was medic'd and you were marched out of camp :ghey:

shot him because we were trying to halt you all and he tried to do a runner to the back of the building. he had it coming

thing was we were told after the first siren to shoot anyone on site which then changed to just be alert. so wasnt sure whether to shoot you all or just stop you but being as you wouldnt stop and someone did a runner figured it was shootin time :P
