Definitely!
You and Matt saved the day with that one!
Just an after thought, but I quite liked the typed missions and the capacity for writing brief after action reports. If I could of, I'd have have put in recommendations for medals and mentions in dispatches. I see how it gives a good over view of the days play. Really clever thinking chaps
yer thats why i want to expand it , to give a proper view of the day , some squads do write up the medal moments and some zugs the demerits as well (not got your rope sorted
)
as would have been nice to write up the full day up blow by blow . always next time
Fantastic day! Everyone got into the spirit of the missions and made for a very emersive day. Some fantastic kit, especially the axis camoflage that worked very well. Highlights for me were providing cover whilst clearing the mine field and then having to continue under fire. The mortar worked really well, especially when assaulting the hilltop church and gave us that edge we needed.
Just ashame we couldn't have all chatted more at the end, but understandable as some folks had come a fair distance.
Awesome day! Thanks to Chris, Martin and all of the Fireball guys. You guys certainly know how to put on a cool event.The site was fantastic too. The missions were entertaining as usual. The level of kit on both sides was top notch and really added to the game. The last game was quite a battle! I thought that we (Germans ) were going to hold out but once we were surrounded and squeezed into a tight pocket it was game over. zug 4 Fj's thank everyone who played and made it such a great day.Roll on the next one.
just have to say sorry to the Brit who took more than his fair share of grenades during one attack, sorry mate
