Excited isn't the word, if I can get rid of this tickly cough after my man flu, it will be great. I just have one huge question to answer, do I use the new asg mp40' untried, go with the src mp40 which is always playing up, but looks great all weathered, or go with the k98 because it's the right weapon to use, even though I will be outgunned and outmatched, Or dress up the m14 because it's my favourite. Decisions decisions oh what fun.

Use the k98, trust me bolt actions bring so much more to the game you forget the fact you are disadvantaging yourself in some ways! :happyswing:

I am also excited, Gunmans big games are an epic experience and I have everything sorted and packed. Just need to charge batteries tonight and make my sandwiches tomorrow.

As for what gun? I would take a mixture to a full weekender inclduing at least one which is tried tested and reliable, especially if one of the others is unused and untried. You don't want to have a miserable time because you've picked the wrong weapon.

Cheers

Can't agree more, no point bringing something that looks great but is unrealiable and will leave you cursing the weekend  Go with the tried, tested and realiable. You won't regret it!

Still got bits and pieces to do (huge pile of kit on the floor of the spare room), but picked up some beers for the social yesterday so that's the important bit sorted!

I'm at about a 7/10 at the moment. Will be giving Greta the once over tonight to make sure she is ready to roll and getting the rest of my kit sorted too. Then I'll be up to a ten :happyclap:

I haven't decided which weapon to go with yet either, the mp40 or the K98. I'll take em all and see what the conditions are like on the day. I'll take my PPsh as a backup too.

It should be an epic weekend!

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

The last 2 weeks at work have been awful. I've not had time to think about the game. :( Hopefully things'll pick up when Graeme picks me up. :)
