I've had both... I find the shoulder holster easier to draw from and more comfy. However as HS said it gets in the way of your other webbing and pockets, and crawling too.

could get a cavlary hip holster that binds to your leg and swivels. like a western cav holster

well its spot on the money!!!

tried all 3 mags and the things awesome. the finish isnt 100%. theres a few surface marks on the plastic but it gives it a nice battleworn look. tried all 3 mags and it seems to like green alot. gardens to short to set the hop so will do that at haggard but it was pretty accurate in the 15m I have here. kicks hard too. its a bit chilly here tonight so 2 of the mags had 1 bb left in each by the time the gas was spent(plus i was just rapid firing so the mags got cold as a witches nether regions) but otherwise its fantastic. cant fault it one bit. Roll on haggard

How many mags can I get into a mag bag?

Hiya Jon
most WW2 events runs to the same set of "CiA rules" , which include a max 600 bbs on all apart from period support weapons. Although I'm sure Mr Ashworth will be justifying a Bren/ 30 Cal to himself by August, in which case he can carry up to 3000 8)

yep its the plastic bell 1911. the trade marks on it look better than the full metal one. got a heck of a weight to it though.

cant wait to see its real range
